Your deadline to change Medicare coverage
October 15 – December 7, 2026
Our 2 lunches run October 20 to November 10. Each one is 12:00pm to 1:00pm, free and open to everyone — no appointment needed.
The basics
Once a year, everyone on Medicare gets a chance to look at their coverage and change it. Our lunches happen to fall during this window — so if you meet a doctor you would like to switch to, you can make it official right away.
October 15 through December 7 every year. Any change you make takes effect January 1, 2027.
Move between Original Medicare and a Medicare Advantage plan, switch Advantage plans, or join, drop, or change a Part D prescription drug plan.
Plans change their costs, their drug lists, and their doctor networks every year. The plan that fit you last year may not cover the same things in 2027.
Why come
Choosing a doctor is a big decision. These lunches give you time to meet a physician who practices in your community, ask about their approach to care, and decide if they are the right fit — no pressure to switch.
The schedule
All lunches run 12:00pm to 1:00pm. You are welcome to just show up — call ahead only if you would like us to save you a seat.
